Kratom as a fitness supplement

For centuries, the natives of Southeast Asia have used Kratom to cope with harsh working conditions and to treat various health issues like malaria, anxiety, and sleep disorders.

The increased blood flow and the supply of nutrients cause this feeling of energy. Many times Kratom has been compared to coffee without that feeling of jitters.

When taken in the right doses, Kratom can help increase your mental and cardio alertness, giving your body the energy it needs to complete a workout.

How Much Kratom Should You Take For Fitness?

To get the most out of Kratom, you need to take it in the right dosage. Taking too much can make your body feel sedated instead of energized, preventing you from getting the right amount of exercise and exercise that you need.

Some people have reported feeling nauseous and sick after taking too much Kratom, which increases the need to take the right amounts.

The most common recommended dose is between 0.5g and 3g of Kratom. Depending on your body size and your metabolism, the ideal amount may vary. Best Kratom Strains for Training

There are several varieties of Kratom, with varying properties and benefits. Choosing the right one for fitness can help you reap more benefits and improve your performance.

Maeng Da green or white

Maeng Da Kratom strains were commonly used to make coffee due to their effectiveness in increasing alertness. To this day, they remain quite popular, especially among fitness enthusiasts. Maeng Da is best known for his motivation, overall energy, and stamina levels. It’s the perfect strain to use on those days you don’t feel like leaving the house.

Thai white or green

From the name you can tell that both varieties are from Thailand. They are extremely potent with reputedly high energy properties. The Thai variety also tends to have a high alkaloid content. It’s best to start with lower doses when using green or white Thai, and then work your way up slowly.

Fitness supplement store collapses with $ 1 million in debt

A leading fitness company has been left on the brink of collapse after a director received a devastating diagnosis and the company racked up nearly $ 1 million in debt.

Muscle Coach is a large Australian health and fitness company specializing in vitamins and supplements and operating six “superstores” in Brisbane and Melbourne.

But this month it was placed under voluntary administration and five of its stores abruptly closed, upsetting customers and leaving a number of employees jobless.

While stores in West End and Newmarket in Queensland and Blackburn, Ferntree Gully and Cheltenham in Victoria will remain closed, the brand’s online store and Coorparoo physical outlet in Brisbane will continue to operate as usual.

Cor Cordis administrator Darryl Kirk told he has since been bought by another anonymous fitness company for an undisclosed figure in a confidential sale.

“The business was sold – I can’t tell you to whom or at what price, but it was definitely sold,” Kirk confirmed.

“We went through a sales process with a competitive offer and as a result we were able to keep and buy the brand.

“The buyer wants to perpetuate the brand and its presence.

Mr Kirk said there had been a “consolidation” of physical stores, but business was going as usual for the online platform.

He said Muscle Coach had accumulated nearly $ 1 million in debts to a “principal financier, the Australian Taxation Office and certain other commercial creditors.”

According to Mail Mail, one of the company’s directors had been diagnosed with serious health issues earlier in 2019, a factor Kirk said “most definitely” contributed to the company’s woes.

“It’s pretty sad,” he said.

“But I think any situation where you are able to preserve at least part of a business and the heart of a business – and allow the business to continue – is valuable.”

He said there might be a “short adjustment period” but customers could still buy in the store.

Mr Kirk said the fitness and supplements industry is very competitive and the industry has “a lot of players” and “under a lot of pressure” lately.

In a series of Facebook posts, the company alluded to the issues the company is facing.

“Hey guys, Muscle Coach is temporarily closed, but our Coorparoo store will reopen in the next 24 hours. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. We are working on relaunch with new operators and will update all clients shortly. Thank you for your continued support to MC! administrators posted on November 7.

And on Friday, he provided an update, posting that Muscle Coach was “in the process of moving to a new owner.”

“The online store is currently being restocked. Further communications from the new owner will be sent shortly, ”the team wrote.

“We thank you for your continued support and encourage you to take advantage of the sales. “

Sadly, Muscle Coach is just one of many Australian retailers to have had issues in 2019.

In January, menswear retailer Ed Harry went into voluntary administration, and a week later Australia’s sportswear favorite Skins also revealed he was on the verge of failure after filing for a application for bankruptcy before a Swiss court.

At the end of the month, the beauty empire Napoleon Perdis announced that the cult makeup chain’s 56 Australian stores had closed for inventory. Administrators have been appointed and dozens of stores have since collapsed.

Footwear pioneer Shoes of Prey also saw his demise this year, along with British fashion giant Karen Millen, who revealed in September that he would soon be closing all Australian stores, leaving around 80 jobs in jeopardy.

Celebrity chef Shannon Bennett’s Melbourne burger chain Benny Burger was also placed under administration last month, followed by seven Red Rooster outlets in Queensland days later and then Australian clothing sensation from sport Stylerunner, which has since been sold to Accent Group Limited.

And just a few weeks ago, it was revealed that the popular Zanui furniture and housewares business had collapsed after it suddenly entered voluntary administration, leaving a few angry customers embarrassed.

Pure caffeine powder: the lethal potential of the fitness supplement

One teaspoon of pure caffeine powder, which you can easily buy online or at many fitness supplement stores, is equivalent to consuming 60 cans of Red Bull at a time.

The unlimited availability of the substance and its growing popularity as a training and dietary component means that there is a risk that Australians will die or suffer from serious health complications, an expert has warned.

Lachlan Foote was just 21 when he collapsed on the floor of the family home in Blackheath on New Years Day in 2018, a day before his birthday, after suffering a heart attack.

The gifted musician had made a protein shake using caffeine powder, not knowing how powerful and dangerous it was, and suffered acute toxicity that quickly killed him.

“These kinds of stories don’t particularly surprise me, I’m afraid,” Dr Ian Musgrave, molecular pharmacologist and lecturer at Adelaide Medical School, told

“The idea that you can just buy pure caffeine and pour it in without instruction or warning is horrible.

“It’s crazy that it’s so easily accessible. You can buy this stuff from anywhere. calls for pure caffeine powder to be banned in Australia for personal use, in light of Lachlan’s sudden and senseless death.

Death from caffeine toxicity is rare, as one cup of coffee contains around 80 mg of caffeine and the average adult consumes between 110 and 260 mg per day.

“One teaspoon of pure caffeine contains about four grams of caffeine, which is in the zone where one can expect toxicity,” said Dr. Musgrave.

It’s like drinking 50 cups of coffee at a time, or 60 cans of the highly caffeinated Red Bull energy drink.

“Symptoms of caffeine toxicity at the lower end of the scale include palpitations, restlessness, gastrointestinal issues, and they generally resolve well,” said Dr. Musgrave.

“From there you could see dizziness, nausea and anxiety. Towards the upper extremity, convulsions and cardiac arrhythmia may occur. And in the worst case, as we have seen, death from heart attack or stroke. “

RELATED: Father of Young Man Who Dies of Caffeine Toxicity Talks About His Son’s Final Hours

The problem with pure caffeine powder is the lack of awareness of its potency and the fact that those who contain it in protein shakes do not have specific measuring equipment, such as an electronic scale.

This means that overdosing could be very easy, especially in bodybuilders who tend to have “a more cavalier approach to supplementing use,” said Dr Musgrave.

“I think in many ways we are fortunate that we haven’t seen more deaths from caffeine toxicity.”

The United States Food and Drug Administration has restricted the sale of pure caffeine powder in large quantities for personal use after a series of fatalities and near misses.

“The difference between a safe amount and a toxic dose of caffeine in these pure powdered products is very small,” he warned.

The sale of pure caffeine powder is not regulated in Australia, and fitness enthusiasts use it as a pre-workout to boost energy, as well as a dietary supplement to suppress appetite and boost metabolism.

“It’s an accident waiting to happen,” said Dr Musgrave.

“We tend not to view sports supplements or workout supplements as potentially harmful. But if you cook your own and use any old kitchen spoon, we can see all kinds of trouble coming up.

“If people are not aware of the risks and do not take the appropriate action, we are going to end up with another tragedy like this,” he said.

“We need proper warnings and labeling on these products. People probably use these compounds without knowing the safe dosage and without knowing the risks.

“Again, this doesn’t happen very often and I don’t want to trigger mass panic, but people need to be aware of the lethal potential of caffeine in high concentrations. And people with health problems could be at risk at low levels. “

Lachlan was fit and healthy, and a toxicology report revealed that there was no other substance in his system.

His family believe he had no idea how powerful and dangerous the powder is and are calling for pure caffeine products to be banned or at the very least seriously restricted.

Labor spokesperson for health Chris Bowen called for the issue to be urgently addressed by authorities at all levels.

“Reports that people are dying from toxic levels of caffeine powder purchased on an unregulated market are deeply concerning and sad,” Bowen told

“I urge state and federal health ministers to prioritize addressing this issue through COAG processes as soon as possible.”

Proper therapeutic administration places restrictions on caffeine-containing drugs, and its product registry does not contain any pure caffeine powder supplements.

“As such, it is illegal to sell these products in Australia if they make therapeutic claims,” a TGA spokesperson said.

But as long as pure caffeine powder isn’t specifically marketed as a health product or medicine, it can be sold in Australia without regulation.

The sale of large quantities of pure caffeine powder for personal use is legal in this country.

“The dose for adults and children 12 years of age and over of preparations containing caffeine to be used as a stimulant or alert agent should be as follows: 100 mg per maximum dose, which may be repeated at intervals of three hours (and) should not exceed 600 mg in 24 hours.

In 2014, Ohio high school student Logan Stiner died just days before graduation after collapsing at home due to a heart attack caused by caffeine toxicity.

The 18-year-old champion wrestler, talented student and popular local used the powder, which he bought on Amazon, in a protein shake.

A few weeks later, Wade Sweatt, a recent Georgia State University graduate, brewed a drink with caffeine powder. The 24-year-old overdosed, fell into a coma and later died.

US authorities have banned the sale of dangerous pure caffeine products directly to consumers after the deaths.

“It is inherently irresponsible to market such a potentially dangerous product,” said Michael Taylor, deputy food commissioner at the DFA in the United States.

“I hope people understand that they should just stop selling it and that the agency will pursue all legal options against those who don’t.”

Several people have survived close calls with caffeine toxicity.

Kevin Carley, a man from Wisconsin, collapsed on a treadmill after taking a pre-workout caffeine supplement after suffering a heart attack.

He was placed in an induced coma for several days but miraculously survived.

And a woman in Portugal who mixed the spoons she used to measure protein powder and caffeine powder was hospitalized with symptoms of toxicity but survived.

India is at the peak of a physical and mental fitness revolution where we are seeing a large number of Indians embracing the fitness industry. Due to increased industrialization and corporate culture, Indians were more involved in office work without physical labor. Although this was not a very popular trend until a few years ago, with a growing awareness of the benefits of a fitness routine, more and more Indians are enrolling in gyms. , marathons and health clubs.

From weight lifting and water sports to fun activities like zumba and aerobics, Indians of all ages have started to embrace a fit lifestyle. In fact, Google trends reveal that there has been a massive increase in demand for sugar-free, gluten-free, fat-free and probiotic-free foods in India.

A fitness supplement is intended to deliver essential nutrients and is not otherwise consumed in large amounts. These supplements generally provide amino acids, proteins, and minerals. Due to a rapidly changing lifestyle, the will and time to cook at home has been drastically reduced. Hence, this has led to a rise in the market for external dietary supplements in India.

Here’s what the reports say

According to “India Protein and Herbal Supplements Market Overview 2018-23”, the Indian fitness supplement market is expected to reach a CAGR of over 18% in 2023 compared to 2017-18. Experts say Indian consumers are increasingly aware of basic nutrition requirements and are proactively implementing nutritional supplements in their diets. It is observed that young Indians are driven to achieve higher well-being and avoid obesity and a healthy body and mind.

Editing in Outlook

Previously, Indians were heavily involved in the consumption of fast food and packaged foods, which ultimately led to lifestyle diseases like diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular disease. However, the main factors that have fueled the emergence of a healthy lifestyle are the increase in disposable income and GDP. With a better economy comes a better standard of living.

Another major factor that has contributed to a fitness focused India is the influence of Bollywood celebrities, athletes and fitness icons. From a 30-year-old Vicky Kaushal to a 53-year-old Salman Khan, Bollywood has inspired audiences to stay in shape. Indian athletes are not left out either. Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and others often flaunt their chiseled bodies. This has enabled more and more people to prevent obesity and adopt healthy lifestyles.

The tastes of the generation

According to a survey, India’s population consists of more young people than any other country in the world. While young people tend to hold office jobs, awareness of dietary supplements and exercise routines has helped them adopt healthier lifestyles. This has led to the growth of the dietary supplement market in India.

The Indian fitness industry is likely to grow in the coming years. While it is currently estimated at $ 0.8 billion, it will soon see rapid double-digit growth. Currently, the fitness industry in China is valued at $ 6 billion with a GDP of $ 11 trillion. Therefore, if we assume that India’s GDP (currently $ 2.5 trillion) will continue to grow 6-7% over the next 10 years. India’s fitness industry is expected to triple to $ 2.5 billion by the end of 2027.

Now is the time

It is a very opportune time for companies betting on Indian fitness industry such as dietary and health supplements, fitness clothing, health clubs and gymnasiums. With the expected growth of the Indian fitness industry, it is estimated that these companies will experience greater heights in the times to come.

Besides protein powders, people are also considering using peanut butter in their daily diet because it is very high in protein. Peanut butter is not only heavy in nutrients, but it also helps prevent diabetes and heart disease. It’s a great alternative to sweet cravings for those who want to watch their weight. Plus, it’s a great source of protein for those who are passionate about fitness. Although peanut butter is one of the most popular spreads in the world, it is still not a very common household product in India. However, with the growing awareness of the nutritional value of peanut butter, the industry is heading for a brighter future.

Today, with a large number of upper middle class households spending money on organic and natural food products, choosing the right product is highly essential when shopping for a jar of peanut butter. A healthy jar of peanut butter shouldn’t contain stabilizers, hydrogenated oil, trans fat, or added sugar. Along with other fitness supplements, the peanut butter industry is also expected to experience a boom in Indian markets very soon.

Anandamide: Your Body’s Natural Fitness Supplement

When starting a new health plan, more often than not, people share the common goal of better fitness. It can be difficult to develop a routine and stick to it; finding the motivation to train sometimes means doing business with yourself or practicing self-discipline. However, there is a really good reason to exercise, and you might be surprised that it’s linked to cannabinoids.

Find cannabis nearby

Search the dispensary menus

Anandamide is the body’s natural cannabinoid, very similar to THC, and can be accessed through movement. This neurotransmitter was discovered when scientists realized that there must be a natural cannabinoid for us to develop cellular receptors that interact with THC. After its discovery, it became clear that anandamide is produced in higher volumes during exercise.

Like THC, it relieves pain and anxiety, and anandamide has the added benefit of increasing dopamine production.

If you want to get (and stay) in shape this year or develop healthy fitness habits, explore three great activities that harness your natural cannabinoid and circulate anandamide.

In progress

Running is the perfect choice for getting in shape and enjoying the positive effects of your training. As an activity, it takes little more than a location, a good pair of shoes, and determination. Start with small, achievable goals, like jogging for twenty minutes a day or taking a walk in the local park. Work slowly up to longer times and greater distances.

The more effort you put into this exercise, the more you will gain from not only fitness, but also anandamide production (there’s a reason many runners say the activity is addictive). Make the most of every minute, because when you finally stop, a blissful euphoria will await you to reward you.

Yoga and anandamide go hand in hand. In fact, the word “anandamide” comes from the Sanskrit word “ananda”, which means pleasure. Yoga and anandamide both leave you feeling peaceful, focused and blissful. It’s a great choice for your fitness goals because of its many health benefits.

Since anandamide is more easily produced by more intense physical activity, it will pay off to choose a fast-paced practice. Consider a next-level vinyasa yoga class, which will allow you to move steadily and efficiently through each pose.

In the end, your savasana will make you high more than ever as you feel your body relax and open, and your mind clear and flood with the natural effect of anandamide.

How to combine intense physical fitness with pleasure? Dancing. Whether it’s in free form to your favorite music or in a class with a guide, dancing is a phenomenal way to get in shape and enjoy every second. This is a full body exercise that will burn calories, relax muscles, and keep your heart in good shape. It is also an activity that can be adapted to suit many different people; whether you prefer hip hop, salsa or jazzercise, there is bound to be a style and music that excites and dulls you.

Due to the intense physical nature of dancing, it’s also a great way to get that anandamide flowing.

There are many great options for staying fit and taking advantage of our body’s natural cannabinoids. Whether it’s running, yoga, dancing, or some other activity like swimming, pilates, or weight lifting, there are plenty of ways to get moving. With anandamide on your side, the result will not only leave you healthier and fitter, but also pleasantly happier and taller.

Bodybuilding champion launches first line of fitness supplements in Egypt

Emerging bodybuilder and entrepreneur Mahmoud Al Durrah hopes his new line of supplements can open a gateway in the fitness industry between the West and the Middle East, serving as a source of inspiration for young Egyptians.

Aiming to be the first Egyptian to launch his own brand of fitness supplements sold online and in stores by early 2016, Durrah says his dream is the first of its kind. “I want my supplement company to really be the biggest thing to come out of the Middle East when it comes to bodybuilding and fitness,” said the two-time Canadian national bodybuilding champion. Egypt Independent.

Currently, almost all of the fitness supplements available in the market are developed and released in the United States and Canada, explains Durrah.

With Egypt as the primary market, the new Durabolic Nutrition line will include six products: two flavors of whey protein isolate, testosterone support, pre-workout, intra / post-workout recovery and fat burner.

A graduate of the American University in Cairo, Durrah says launching her product in Egypt only makes sense because Cairo is her hometown and most of her fans are Egyptians. “The amount of support I get from them only returns the favor in the best possible way,” he adds.

Durrah posed on stage in July at the 2015 Canadian National Championships, where he took first place for the second time after suffering a severe burn.

Sponsor Egyptian athletes

With a pool of talented athletes in the Middle East, Durrah believes it’s time to shed some light on the region with her connections and business know-how. One of his goals, which he hopes to achieve through Durabolic Nutrition, is to sponsor Egyptian athletes, strengthen their image and propel them onto the world stage.

The problem, says Durrah, is that Egyptians have a lot of potential in both work ethic and fitness genetics, but lack the great local fitness sponsors that exist in the West. “I want to give them the opportunity that they don’t really have,” he explains.

Durrah already has a few Egyptian athletes in mind to sponsor once he sets up his business.

Beat the odds

Having succeeded through thick and thin, Durrah hopes her story will embolden young Egyptians around the world. Durrah has suffered a serious accident before almost every championship he has competed in, from a motorcycle accident where he broke his knee to another incident that led to him having a shoulder reconstruction. Despite the circumstances, he won several of his competitions.

Four years ago, when he moved to Montreal to be with his kids, he spent a lot of time jumping from job to job, just to make ends meet. Without any knowledge of French, he struggled. “I had absolutely nothing. My job at the time was waxing cars at a gas station and I had two children to feed. I had to get up at 5 am, finish at 7 pm, then go to the gym and sleep six hours if I was lucky, ”he says.

Before his last championship competition in Canada, Durrah was attempting to put out a house fire when he suffered second and third degree burns over much of his body, spending several days in intensive care. After recovering at home for two months, he returned to win the 2015 Canadian Bodybuilding Championship for the second time.

Durrah is lying on a bed in hospital shortly after being burned in a fire in late October 2014. He only had until July to prepare for the Canadian National Championship, where he won the first square.

To reflect this inspiring success story, Durrah says that Durabolic Nutrition will feature an advertising campaign showing athletes in challenging environments with the motto: “Why are you here?

Nutrition and work ethics

Although Durabolic Nutrition is still in the testing phase, Durrah says her fans will be happy not only with the high quality of her product, but also with the taste. Vanilla Coconut Protein Powder is a new flavor that the Egyptian market has never seen. “It tastes like heaven,” Durrah said with a smile.

As Durrah prepares for his next competition, he is now focusing on training, in addition to his new line of supplements. He trains a wide variety of athletes, from men who want a bodybuilding physique to women who want to compete in bikini competitions, and of course, the average person who wants to get in shape.

As her product expands in Egypt, Durrah looks forward to visiting her home country more often, eventually teaming up with local gyms and training Egyptians online from Canada. “I didn’t get into bodybuilding for the money,” he says. “I got into this out of passion. I love to see how people feel when they see how much I’ve changed their appearance. And most importantly, the anticipation of competition preparation and the hard and brutal work involved. Everything shows on stage, you can’t cheat and hide from it. I am not joking; I never skip meals or workouts. And those who make it walk on stage like its thin ice, and I’ll be under it when it shatters. “

Durrah hopes that through his product and coaching efforts, he can give back to the community where he was born and raised in a bigger way than anyone in the fitness industry has ever done.
